Team Oasis Farm IEA
We are very excited to be able to host an IEA team out of Oasis Farm. The IEA offers our riders an opportunity to test their understanding of show riding in a venue that is collegial and supportive. The IEA format is judged solely on the rider’s effort either over fences or on the flat. The equitation aspect of the competition is meant to level the playing field. While this is not always the case, the experience our riders gain from these competition definitely help to create riders who are able to perform with little to no preparation. This ability to prove ready with a new mount develops into a skill set that translate into greater poise when facing the unknown. Aside from showing, the IEA takes sportsmanship and team development as key components to developing the next generations of riders.
Programs the IEA offers:
Sportsmanship
The IEA was established to provide competitive and educational opportunities through equestrian athletics. Good Horsemanship and honorable participation are priorities at every event. It is the responsibility of all attendees to foster a spirit of belongingness, an atmosphere of community enjoyment, and a mutual respect for all participants and their equine partners.
