Meet our trainers
Janeen Smith and Colin Daly work closely with all riders and horses, often team teaching. They have more than 30 years of combined experience, with many riders competing, reaching Medal Finals, being long-listed for the US Team, and even going on to become successful coaches themselves.
It is our goal that riders have an empowered and positive relationship with their mounts in all phases of their interactions.
Our commitment is to teach our riders not only how to ride, but how to train their horse; to problem solve and understand training systems well enough be effective, and most importantly to understand how riding position and equipment can influence the horse in creating a lasting partnership.

Serving the greater Bay Area, we are a short drive from San Francisco and San Jose, and just minutes from Woodside, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, and more. Located at Portola Farms, we provide Hunter/Jumper and dressage lessons and competitive training in the heart of Silicon Valley.
